@akibadori was an amazing experience.
Customer centric operation! Great food and inviting interiors makes it a place one would want to visit again. I am really fond of Japanese food. And I think if made well it’s something people can enjoy. I ordered Ariba rock shrimps and don’t let the name fool you as they were perfectly soft and are basically dynamite shrimps. My favourite was the Dynamite shrimp Maki (sushi) I thoroughly enjoyed the Sashimi salads & Seafood gyoza. The wasabi prawns were done to perfection and I finished the entire platter. I was so full that I couldn’t eat much of my Yaki soba noodles. However I had a bite and they were divine. The most interesting bit was the pizza which they claim is like no other. I watched it bake infront of me and I can tell you it was light and different and I enjoyed it. For desserts I highly recommend the Lotus cheesecake. I put @akanadori on my top 5 list of asian restaurants in Dubai. A must visit place! #japanesecuisine at its best!
Worth the drive out for 30 mins. Parking is easy, staff is friendly, plenty of seating space and true to design district - done up really well.
The rock shrimp was amazing, and so was the pizza. The shrimp gyoza and sushi was good too, but I have had better. Go here for the pizza and shrimp, of course the ambience too

⭐️ The Katsu Sando is out of this world 🤤 I recommend getting it medium rare! It’s a little on the sweeter side, which I didn’t mind 😋
-The Sashimi Salad had a good burst of freshness but was overdone with the dressing :/
-I tried the ‘Truffle Strata’ and ‘New York Pizza’ which I will say is kinda overrated but, it’s still some good quality pizza 🙌🏼 They also have a live pizza station- so you know it’s fresh outta the oven!
⭐️ The Lotus Cheesecake is an absolute dream! It looks and tastes 10/10! The best lotus cheesecake I’ve tried so far ❤️
